We are excited to continue into the second year of our SDP First Shift Program!

Designed specifically for our youngest players, SDP First Shift is the perfect introduction to the game of hockey and the SDP Hockey experience. This development-focused program helps young athletes build fundamental skills, gain confidence on the ice, and develop a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment.

The program was extremely popular last year and filled quickly, so we encourage families to register early. SDP First Shift provides the perfect balance of skill development, fun, and age-appropriate instruction for players beginning their hockey journey.

• Birth Year: 2021 Boys and Girls (2020 considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Starts April 2027
• 10 Skills Sessions (Wednesday evenings)
• Led by SDP Skills Directors
• 18 Sunday Night Skates
• 20min structured skating sessions
• 40min cross-ice scrimmages
• Location: MGCC or New Hope Ice Arena
• Cost: $695
