Founded in 2019, Select Development Program (SDP) was created with one purpose: player development.

We believe players develop best when they are challenged — training and competing alongside athletes of similar ability and commitment, with experienced coaches who know how to push them to the next level.

Development at SDP goes beyond individual skill. We focus on the complete player — skating, puck skills, hockey IQ, compete level, confidence and understanding of the game. Our goal is to create an environment where players are challenged to improve every time they step on the ice.

Through our AAA teams, Summer Development Programs and specialized training opportunities, SDP gives players the coaching, competition and opportunities they need to continue progressing in the game.

Development isn’t just part of our name. It’s the foundation of our program.
