AAA TRYOUTS
2027 BOYS AAA TRYOUTS
DATES: August 24th - 27th
Location: Maple Grove Community Center
For the 2027 AAA season, SDP will evaluate 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 birth year teams.
Team programs include:
- 25-30 hours of development ice
- Scrimmage games
- 3-5 tournaments
Development ice will be held in the Northwest suburbs.
*There will be a 2012 team- tryouts will not be held for this age group. It will be invite only.

Our First Shift Program is the perfect first step into the world of SDP Hockey. Players will learn fundamental skills, build confidence, and develop a love for the game in a fun, positive environment. After the incredible success of our 2020 group last year, we’re excited to do it all again!

For the 2027 AAA season, SDP will plan to evaluate for the following teams depending on numbers at tryouts.
14U, 12U, 10U and 8U Girls team
Birthyears:
14U= 2012-2013
12U= 2014-2015
10U= 2016-2017
8U= 2018 and younger
- 25-30 hours of development ice
- Scrimmage games
- 3-5 tournaments
Development ice will be held in the Northwest suburbs.
AAA Tryout Tentative Schedule
*Specific times/groups will be posted on Friday, August 21st
- Day 1 groupings will be assigned alphabetically.
- Day 2 groupings will be posted after Day 1 concludes. You will receive an email with your assigned group.(emails will come later in the day as we wrap up day 1 tryouts)
- No specific time requests will be honored.
