Karson Kuhlman

Karson grew up in Esko, MN where he played youth hockey for the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton organization. Following his Junior year, he joined the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL where he played two seasons and won a Clark Cup Championship in 2013.

Karson then joined the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs for four seasons. During his time there, he was a two year captain, made four NCAA tournament appearances, won a NCHC Championship, and won a NCAA National Championship in 2018 with the Bulldogs in his final year at school, where he was named MVP of the Frozen Four.

After college, Karson went on to sign with the Boston Bruins and over the next six seasons had stops with the Seattle Kraken, Winnipeg Jets, and Bridgeport Islanders. He donned the USA jersey in 2022 at the World Championships. He currently has 147 games played in the NHL with 17 games of postseason experience as well.

His hockey career then took him to Finland where he played for Lukko Rauma. Karson currently plays for Rogle BK in the SHL, the top Swedish pro league.

Karson spends the summers in the twin cities area and has worked small group skills and hockey camps for a number of years.
