Matt Margenau

Matt grew up playing hockey in the Osseo-Maple Grove Hockey Association (OMGHA).  He graduated from Osseo Senior High School in 1994 and attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he met his wife, Danielle.

Matt got back into hockey when his oldest son was a first year mite with OMGHA.  While being involved with the program, he has coached for 13 years at the Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, and Bantam levels.  Along with coaching, Matt has held the following positions within OMGHA: MiniMite Director, House VP, Traveling VP, and is currently the Skills/Coaching VP.   Matt was also the head coach at the 2004 and 2009 AAA levels for 11 years.

Additionally, Matt is an on-ice instructor with MN Hockey for skills and CEP clinics.

Matt currently has 2 boys playing hockey and is very excited to join the SDP program.
