SDP's AAA Hockey program offers athletes the opportunity to compete at the top level of AAA Hockey.  Our goal is to create a fun, challenging and competitive environment that fosters in our players a love and passion for the game of hockey.  SDP’s focus will be first – player skill development and second – team concepts.  To truly enjoy playing this great game, we believe players need a strong foundation of skills which leads to the ability to properly execute Team Concepts. 

For the 2023 AAA season, SDP will field 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017* birth year teams. Team programs include:

• 30-40 hours of development ice
• Scrimmage games
• 3-5 tournaments

Development ice will be held in the Northwest suburbs.

Our season will consist of a spring and late summer session.  Spring session will take place Mid-March through mid-May and late summer session will be end of July through August.

* Our Jr. SDP Team will have 20 hours of development ice and will participate in a Jamboree in August.
